Lori Lanewicz Wahl

I graduated in 1993 from Wayne State University, in Michigan, with a Bachelors of Fine Arts, Interior Design degree. After graduation, through a mutual friend, I met a woman who had her own manufacturer representative agency. It was there that I fell in love with textiles – wool carpeting to be exact.

As I learned the industry, I discovered that I enjoyed working with Retail Stores, Interior Designers and Architects in their selection of product. Wanting to further my experience in the industry, I relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio where I managed a Trade Only Showroom, in conjunction with "repping" product on the road. In 2002 I purchased the Showroom to heighten my management skills and be my own boss. After that experience, I decided to transition back to what I do best, that’s to be on the road, calling on the Retail Store, Interior Designers and Architects once again, full time.

Greg Wahl

I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a BBA, Accounting major in 1976.  After working in the financial arena for 12 years, I chose to become an entrepreneur.  I partnered with a builder and constructed over $2,000,000 of multi-family housing from 1988-1992.  In 1993, I purchased a 43 year old carpet distribution company and transitioned its operations into one of the areas largest, commercial hard-surface distributors.  In conjunction with distribution, I extended our operations in 1996, opening a high-end, Trade Only Showroom for the designer and architectural community.  My need for a Showroom Manager resulted in meeting my partner, Lori.  Lori and I withdrew from the commercial marketplace in 2002 in order for us to focus on the Showroom and road "repping".  In April 2009, we chose to close the Showroom, form our Company, L & W, and concentrate on doing what we love to do best, being manufacturer’s representatives, and calling on Retail Stores, Designers and Architects in our three state territories.
